TAYOS draws inspiration from Ecuador’s legendary Tayos Caves to explore our relationship with nature and its role in our wellbeing.
This project is just the latest chapter in an extraordinary story of exploration, mystery, ancient history and a mission to protect, through UNESCO World Heritage Status, a natural wonder in one of the most biodiverse regions in the world.
By weaving together ecological reconnection, art, music, architecture and neuroscience, Tayos draws on lessons offered by the cave to create a catalyst for a recalibration of our relationship with our environment and ourselves.
Through this project we hope to build a global network of guardians for this fragile landscape and show why a protected future is imperative for places such as Cueva de los Tayos - free from the threats of mining, deforestation and human harm.
